A former adult film actress, Mia Khalifa, is going to have a breast surgery next year after a hockey puck hit her in the chest during a game.

Hockey game with an unpleasant ending

Mia Khalifa is a former adult film star. Now, she is a famous social media personality, and recently, she has been announced to co-host SportsBall.

Mia came to watch a Stanley Cup Playoff game earlier this year when a hockey puck crashed into her. It hit the woman’s left breast transplant.

Khalifa recalled that sad accident to Daily Star:

I grabbed my chest and I didn't want to let go, because I felt like if I did let go blood was going to be everywhere.

Fortunately, Mia did not receive life-threatening injuries and even called the puck that hit her “the greatest souvenir.”

I got to take it home, it was the single greatest souvenir any hockey fan can get.

But recently, the hockey fan revealed she has to undergo a surgery at the beginning of next year. Mia explained that her left breast is slightly deflated now and needs to be fixed.

We hope the future surgery will be successful and Mia will recover soon.

Is hockey a dangerous game? Statistics say that…

Sportsmen get used to getting traumas and injuries and even suppose them to be a part of their profession. But sports fans usually do not share this opinion. Agree, that nobody wants to be struck by a ball, a puck, or any other sports equipment while watching a favorite game.

Dr. Dave Milzman, a professor at Georgetown University's Medical School, says pucks hit three to four people at an average game, according to ABC News.

One of those lucky people needs stitches or more serious medical treatment.

Compared to most other sports, hockey fans are closer to the action, which may get rough.

So, what does it mean? Shouldn’t we attend any sports games at all? Of course, not! We can and we should. But remember about the safety rules during a game.

Safety tips at a hockey game:

1. Sit on the area intended strictly for fans.

2. Remember about the age restrictions. Do not take toddlers and little kids to watch a game.

3. Teenagers require constant adults’ supervision during a game.

4. Do not try to catch a flying puck. It could be dangerous.

5. Do not run on a field.

6. In case you got hit by a puck, immediately go to see a doctor. Even if you think you’re fine, remember that a skull fracture became evident hours later.
