It's Officially Happening! The 'NCIS' Alum Pauley Perrette's New Show Is About To Air On CBS

May 10, 2019 15:27

There is always a lingering hope that our favorite character will return to the show. Pauley Perrette, who's known as a veteran of NCIS, is not making a comeback, probably ever. However, she has found a way to delight her fans.

Pauley had served 15 years on the long-running show before making an exit. She played the role of a forensic scientist named Abby Sciuto that many of us find irreplaceable. It's simply not been the same without her. Apparently, she misses her time at NCIS, too, as Pauley reportedly grieved her departure.

Her latest debut

We may never see her again on NCIS but, we will cheer for her one more time on the same network. As published on Cinema Blend, Pauley is set to star in CBS' brand new show, Broke, which has officially got its series order. The plot will revolve around a trust fund baby who has deliberately been cut off from his father wealth.

He and his wife experience drastic changes. They are left with no choice but to move in with her estranged sister, Jackie, in her Reseda home, where the sisters must reconnect. Perrette will portray Jackie, with actor Jaime Camil of Jane the Virgin playing Jackie's brother-in-law. Izzy Diaz, Natasha Leggero, and Antonio Corbo will be her co-stars.

Fans dividedly reacted to the news

Are you thrilled to have Pauley Perrette back, too? The little rebel on NCIS is spreading her wings to wider skies, and we wish her all the luck. Share this and congratulate her on the new project.
