The actress and model is a proud mom of three girls. The first two, Sam and Lola, are from her marriage to ex-husband Charlie Sheen, while her third child, Eloise, is adopted.

Dealing with transition age youth

A study by the Implementation Science & Practice Advances Research Center says transitioning from adolescence into adulthood for children is often an uncertain time from the age of 14-30.

At this age living with mental health conditions may delay the development of skills essential to function properly as an adult.

The study also examines policies, issues, and gap as they are likely to contribute to young adults entering inappropriate service sectors or receiving inadequate, ineffective services.

Loving mother or invasion of privacy?

However, the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star has come up with an interesting way to ensure her 15-year-old daughter Sami stays honest about her whereabouts.

The 48-year-old actress and her husband Aaron Phypers in a new episode of the show installed security cameras outside their homes.

Information obtained from People, Denise explained that she came up with the idea to prevent Sami from going out to meeting boys without her permission. The actress said:

Sami’s getting into high school and new school, new boys. That’s when kids usually start sneaking out. I started sneaking out when I was 15 years old, so I know my kid’s going to sneak out. So I’m putting cameras up so I can catch her. We’ll be able to see people sneak out or sneak in.

Sami isn’t thrilled about the idea in any way.

My daughter found me

Raising 7-year-old Eloise has been a blessing for Denise, but it hasn’t been without difficulties. Eloise who was adopted in 2001, first started showing first signs of delayed development when she was a baby.

Doctors and other specialists couldn’t figure out what was wrong until two and a half years ago, when she was finally diagnosed with a deletion in chromosome 8.

The mom-of-three admitted despite the challenges, she considers adoption "the best decision she’s ever made."

A mother’s love and care are absolutely unconditional!
