TK Weaver made his debut on General Hospital as Danny Morgan in 2016 and earned tons of loyal fans for his work. Sadly, as a result of being in the public eye, Weaver became a target of online criminals. He wants to raise awareness of how social media accounts of children, whether stars or not, should be monitored.

Soap opera actor

TK Weaver is known for his role as Daniel Edward 'Danny' Morgan on ABC daytime soap opera General Hospital. The child star, who made his debut on the show in May 2016, is the son of former mob boss Jason Morgan and his ex-wife, Sam McCall, on the show.

At the age of three, Weaver decided he wanted to be an actor. He made his film debut in the short film Upended by Tessa Blake and Amy Landecker.

For his role as Danny, the actor won Best Performance by a Recurring Young Actor in a TV Series at Young Artist Award in 2018.

Social media awareness

Weaver recently disclosed that a horrible incident that happened on social media left fans and even his own parents shocked.

It appears that dangerous criminals had targeted the social media account of the child star. In a post on Twitter, Weaver revealed that some followers had been blocked as a result of the situation, in which his parents needed to step in, saying:

Hi friends. We had an issue with pedophiles on TK’s account so we got some help to block & report them. Some safe accts were unfollowed – most were private or locked accts. Please DM me & I’ll get you refollowed. Sorry for any confusion. TK is fine. He is protected.

Weaver and his parents are using this awful incident to raise awareness of the dangers of social media and how accounts of children should be closely monitored.
