It looks like the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are following Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when it comes to the royal tours. The next big royal tour for Duke and Duchess of Cambridge has been revealed to be coming up this fall to Pakistan.
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are scheduled to visit Southern Africa this fall. The couple announced their plans on their official Instagram account. In the post, it was also hinted that baby Archie, will be joining his famous parents saying: “This will be their first official tour as a family!”
In a statement on June 29, Kensington Palace announced that Prince William and Kate Middleton are set to visit Pakistan this fall. A statement from the palace read:
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge will undertake an official visit to Pakistan this autumn, at the request of the Foreign and Commonwealth Office.
This is coming days after it was announced that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will also be embarking on a tour of Africa in the fall, with the Duke making stops in Malawi and Angola.
However, there hasn’t been any mention of their exact travel dates.
Prince Harry appears to be following in the footsteps of his mother, Princess Diana. The late Princess of Wales also visited the country multiple times and to further her charity work.
It looks like baby Archie could set a new record and become the youngest royal to make an international trip. His parents are scheduled to embark on a tour to Southern Africa in autumn.
The announcement hinted that the Sussexes will likely take their son with them. It’s pretty understandable that as new parents, Harry and Meghan would not like to be separated from little Archie for a long time.
