Royal Fans Noticed A Massive Mistake Buckingham Palace Made After Releasing Archie’s Christening Photos

Archie’s christening has been all over the news despite the veil of secrecy surrounding it. The two official photographs Meghan and Harry shared after the special day made quite a stir online for many reasons.

First, the Sussex couple has been accused of lying about their son’s age as fans are certain the baby on the photos looks too old to be 2 months old.

But then, the most attentive royal watchers noticed a massive error Buckingham Palace made when posting the official snaps on Instagram.

Huge mistake

The royal family shared a new official portrait of the Sussex couple with their son and other royals invited to the christening.

In the rush to share a snap on all royal social media accounts, it appears the Buckingham Palace’s staff made a big mistake in the process when it came to naming people.

The snap featured Princess Diana’s sisters, Lady Jane Fellowes and Lady Sarah McCorquodale. The ladies got mixed up and a lot of people noticed it.

Royal expert Victoria Arbiter was the first to report the error. She wrote:

Eek both Clarence House and Buckingham Palace named Diana’s sisters the wrong way round! Lady Jane is standing next to Doria and Lady Sarah is next to William.

Since then, the original post was corrected, but the blunder was already all over the social media.

There were people missing from the family photo

Even though Kate and William attended Archie’s christening, fans expected to see their adorable kids as well but they, sadly, were nowhere to be seen.

It appears that the Cambridge children were left at home because of the extremely private nature of the gathering. What a shame!
