Thomas Markle said he would enjoy being present at his grandson Archie’s christening if Meghan would just invite him. Mr. Markle feels heartbroken that he still hasn’t seen his daughter’s baby.

Not invited

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle christened their son on Saturday, July 6. The date marks a 2-month anniversary since Archie’s birth.

The Sussexes had a private ceremony for their baby’s baptism. Harry’s father Prince Charles and his wife Camilla were in attendance, as well as Meghan’s mom Doria, who arrived from the US ahead of the ceremony. William and Kate also couldn’t miss such a tremendous family event.

However, except for her mother, none of Meghan’s family members was invited for Archie’s christening. Well, it was pretty predictable considering the Duchess’ tense relationships with her father and sister.

Thomas Markle comments on Archie’s christening

Though he didn’t get an invitation, Thomas Markle still commented on his grandson’s christening in an interview with The Mail on Sunday.

Mr. Markle said he would be pleased to be present at the family celebration:

Archie is my new grandson, of course, I would have enjoyed being there for the blessing, wishing Archie and his parents' health and happiness.

By the way, Thomas hasn’t seen Harry and Meghan’s baby yet, and according to multiple reports, Meghan won’t let him do it anyway. Maybe, in such a way, Mr. Markle pays back for all the offensive and false things he told in his numerous interviews?
