Seven years after Princess Beatrice stole the show with her over-the-top hat at Prince William and Kate Middleton’s wedding, the royal decided to tone her look down this time.

In 2011, Prince Harry’s cousin opted for whimsical creation by renowned London milliner Philip Treacy.

Shortly after the wedding, Beatrice auctioned the wonderful fascinator to raise money for charity. The hat raised $130,000, which went to UNICEF and Children in Crisis, which was established by her mother. She said:

It has its own personality, and I am so happy that we have raised the most incredible amount of money and can make an even bigger change for the lives of some of the most vulnerable children across the world.

For Harry and Meghan’s wedding, Beatrice toned down her headwear, as she arrived in a beautiful turquoise Roksanda Viola dress that was embroidered with a ton of little beads.

The 29-year-old finished her look with a simple multi-strand headband by Fiona Graham, which is not a traditional headwear choice for a royal wedding.

Princess Beatrice has another occasion to look forward to, as her sister, Princess Eugenie, will wed on Friday, Oct. 12.
