Booting The Sussexes! William And Kate Remove All Mentions Of Harry And Meghan From Royal Foundation And Cancel Their Projects

When Prince Harry announced his engagement to Meghan Markle in 2017, people were excited to see the couple join forces with Prince William and Kate Middleton on charity projects.

However, these 'Fab Four' dreams came to an end when the Duke and Duchess of Sussex confirmed that they will be leaving the Royal Foundation, a joint charity organization they previously shared with the Cambridges.

The Sussexes intend to set up their very own foundation where they hope to promote the projects and causes they care about.

Months after this decision was made, the Royal Foundation website has undergone some changes which include removing all mentions of Prince Harry, Meghan Markle, and their projects.

The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are now the only ones listed as the two 'principals' of the foundation. Prince William was credited with founding the charity even though he actually launched it with brother Harry in 2009.

The projects launched by the Sussexes while they were a part of the foundation such as 'The Invictus Games' have been removed while only the Cambridge projects remain.

Since Harry and Meghan's separation from the foundation was announced, rumors of a feud between the royal brothers were ignited. However, according to the UK DailyMail, royal sources insisted that there is no rift between the brothers and the split on the foundation is about preparing the couples for future roles.

There were mixed reactions from social media following this update of the Royal Foundation website.

While some felt it was a welcome idea, others expressed skepticism about the situation of things among these royal parties.

These things may come as a disappointment to royal fans but it's actually understandable that William and Harry may want to explore separate ideas now that each brother has a growing family to consider.
