Camila Cabello had been keeping a dark secret from us. The Havana singer admitted in an interview with BBC Radio 1 that she committed a crime – she stole something from the royal family.

Last month, Camila Cabello visited Kensington Palace and took something that belonged to the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – their pencil. She said after admitting her theft:

I'm sorry William, I'm sorry Kate. You can't not do a triple doggy dare. If there's anything I've learned in my life, it's that. So I did it.

But recently The Cambridge couple let the singer know that they are aware of her crime in the most hilarious way.

Kate Middleton and William’s response

Let’s be fair, we all have done it. Of course, we are not talking about stealing cars or wallets, but many of us took something that didn’t belong to us. Like, how many times did you slip a hotel soup in your bag and walk out of the place with an innocent look?

But what about stealing from a place far grander than a fancy hotel? Camila Cabello was brave enough to go as far as taking something from the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge’s home.

However, as the story unfolded, it turned out that it was BBC Radio 1’s host Greg James who dared the singer to steal a pencil and thankfully, he admitted that he was the mastermind behind the operation.

So what did Kate Middleton and William think about Camila stealing a pencil from their house? They sent the most hilarious emoji response ever.

To be far, Cabello is not the only one who dared to take something from the royal family. Oscar-winning actress Olivia Colman, who is playing Queen Elizabeth II in the new season of The Crown, once admitted she stole toilet paper from Buckingham Palace. Would you commit theft if you visited a royal residence?
