As loving parents, Prince William and Kate Middleton won’t let anyone say a bad thing about their three children. The Cambridges made it loud and clear when a radio presenter made fun of their daughter Charlotte.

Radio presenter mocks Princess Charlotte

In September, 4-year-old Princess Charlotte started her first year in a new school, Thomas’s Battersea. Her elder brother George attends the same establishment.

On the first day of study, George and Charlotte were accompanied by their parents William and Kate.

BBC Radio 1 presenter Greg James got into trouble with the royals after he made fun of Charlotte’s first day at school. James mocked the moment when the little Princess was spotted shaking hands with her teacher.

James told The Mirror:

I saw the photo during the show and said, ‘Who the hell shakes hands with their teacher on the first day?’

Furious parents

A few weeks later, Greg James and several other BBC Radio 1 members were invited to the Palace for meeting with the royals.

James said that Kate and William recalled his words about their daughter.

They said: ‘We were listening on the morning of little Charlotte’s first day, and we want to talk to you about the handshaking thing'. I went: ‘Oh God, no!’

Greg added that he’s never seen the Cambridges in such a bad mood like during that meeting:

They were not like that in my day. You were pleased if you got a smile.

Well, maybe now the radio presenter will think twice before making jokes about the royal kids. Besides, there is nothing strange here if children greet their teachers with handshaking. What do you think?
