An elderly couple passes away and gets allowed to enter paradise. They meet Peter the Apostle at the gate of heaven who offers to give them a tour.

He points to a wonderful villa and says:

That will be your home from now on, located next to the country club.

Out of habit, the old man asked how much it's going to cost him. The attendant of God replies:

Oh, dear one, there are no charges, it's totally free, you're in heaven.


Saint Peter further informs him that he can enjoy the country club too without any fee. The elderly then asks about the food and gets the answer:

Although you don't need to eat here, we do have full platers of your favourtie savory and sweet foods.

His reply disappointed the husband as it is all bad for his health. But, Saint Peter assures him that bad carbs and fats aren't a thing in heaven. So, just dig in!

The old man turns to his wife and smacks her upside the head. She complains:

Hey, what was that for?

Her husband angrily replies:

If it wasn't for you and your healthy bran muffins, we could have been here 30 years ago!
