Bride Cries Hard After Seeing A Man Who Got Her Late Son's Heart: "You May Not See Me But I Will Be There"

November 21, 2019

Becky Turney’s life came to a screeching halt in fall of 2015 when she lost her 19-year-old son, Triston Green. Nearly two years after the loss of her son, Turney decided it was high time to rebuilt her life with the man of her dreams.

As she prepared to walk down the aisle on her wedding day, Becky was overcome with a lot of emotions. She had saved an empty seat for her late son, Triston, at the ceremony so he could be there as she tied the knot with her groom, Kelly.

"I'm in heaven for your wedding so what shall I do? I'll come down to earth to spend it with you. So save me a seat, just one empty chair. You may not see me but I will be there,"

- read the wooden placard on the seat.

Greatest surprise ever!

Yet, the woman had no clue that she was about to physically feel her son's presence at the ceremony!

Her groom had organized the surprise, giving Becky the chance to meet Jacob Kilby, the young man carrying her son's heart, for the very first time.

Jacob had flown all the way from San Diego to Alaska to be a part of the couple's big day as Kelly's sixth groomsman.

Becky had already walked down the aisle in Alaska, US, when her husband-to-be suddenly halted the ceremony and began speaking about Triston.

"At that moment, I just lost it,"

- she told Mirror Online.

"If my brother-in-law hadn't been holding my hand, I would have fallen down."

Along with marrying the man of her dreams, Becky was able to listen to Kilby’s heart with a stethoscope and feel her late son’s presence once again.

“I lost my mind. I squealed like a little girl. I jumped up and down. It was incredible,”

- the happy bride added.

Granted, there wasn't a dry eye at the ceremony after the emotional meeting!

The heartwarming moment was captured by wedding photographer and owner of Love Adventured, Amber Lanphier, who shared the images on Facebook.

People could not help but comment on this tear-jerking moment!

One user wrote:

"This is beautiful. Life has so many bad things, but this is something truly beautiful. "

Another added:

"amazing story of Love! What a wonderful husband to go to length to comfort her on her special day. "

A third one said:

"listening to the heart beat would have been so incredible what a beautiful touch 💓 "

Becky hopes this story will inspire others to sign up as organ donors, if possible, giving them a chance to impact the life of another much like her son did for Kilby with his heart.
