New Weight, Old Face: 50-Year-Old Renée Zellweger Got Slimmer

July 11, 2019

Oscar-winning actress Renée Zellweger doesn’t cease to amaze with her ability to diligently gain weight, if this is required for a role, as well as to get rid of it, getting quickly back in shape. This has already happened twice during the filming of Bridget Jones's Diary and its sequel.

Now the actress is shooting in the film about Judy Garland – a famous Hollywood actress who played Dorothy in The Wizard of Oz. The biopic Judy will be released in the fall of 2019. There is already an official trailer.

In early July, Renée Zellweger attended a parade in London in support of the LGBT community, since her character, Judy, had once been a defender of this movement.

The 50-year-old actress pleased the participants with her speech, and surprised with her appearance – Renée has lost weight again. This time the transformation has especially affected her face: when she smiles, the wrinkles become more pronounced, and so does the loose skin on her neck.

At this age, Zellweger could have resorted to cosmetic procedures, but not all celebrities are the same in this regard. Sometimes, natural aging inspires more respect than endless plastic surgeries.
