Our today’s hero Teo, a small Shih Tzu dog, was taken to the local veterinary clinic in Northern Colombia to get his hair done.

Teo’s owner entrusted his pet to the establishment. When he returned, he discovered that the animal “felt depressed,” so he decided to take him to another hospital. As it turned out, Teo received a hard blow.

Later, he requested explanations from the vet. As it eventually turned out from the recording, provided by the clinic, Teo had been assaulted by one of the establishment’s employees.

The abuser injured Teo, making him go unconscious. The video recording became the key evidence for firing the worker immediately.

To reduce this type of aggression, many countries have created animal protection laws that condemn such behavior. In Teo's case, the assaulter can spend up to three years in prison and pay a fine of up to $15,000.
