97-Year-Old Granny Became The New Face Of An Advertising Campaign Thanks To Her Amazing Avant-Garde Style

Some people believe that, after a certain age, a few things should simply no longer be done; for example, wearing brightly colored clothes or makeup. While this seems to be a kind of unwritten code, many still decide to take the challenge and enjoy life no matter what others say.

Iris Apfel is a 97-year-old woman who stands out for her attitude and style. The daughter of a lawyer and designer managed to become a style icon after together with her husband, they created one of the most important textile companies in the US. In addition, in recent years, she became a model of a fashion house that features such big names of this industry as Miranda Kerr and Karlie Kloss.

Now, Apfel returns to the screens in a new advertising campaign by a popular ice cream brand. The nonagenarian was chosen to represent the company for her cheerful attitude, since that is precisely the message they want to convey to the public.

During an interview with The Daily Mail, Iris confessed:

I have done many things in my life and throughout, I have always tried to live without fear of judgment.  Otherwise, you miss out on all the fun!

Aside from the fact that the ice cream is truly delicious, I adore their message about pursuing pleasure.
