Anne Hathaway has always been known for doing whatever it takes to prepare for the role. She's willing to go to the extremes with her transformations. In the past, Hathaway nearly starved herself to achieve the appearance of tortured, dying Fanteen in Les Misérables (2012), which brought the actress her first Academy Award.

Aside from starvation, Hathaway also had to go through intense physical training to be believable as a superhero Catwoman in The Dark Knight Rises (2012), which came out the same year as Les Mis. Can you imagine the toll that such a drastic and rapid transformation would take on a body? Anne is an example of true dedication to the acting craft.

This time, Anne is going a different path and is currently gaining weight for a certain movie role.

The movie star took to her Instagram to announce that she will be gaining weight in the upcoming months, as a warning to fat shamers.

Surely, Hathaway has had her share of experience with body shamers and media, who were quick to comment on any changes in the actress' appearance. Looks like, she's had enough and don't want to hear any of it this time.

This, of course, isn't the first instance Anne spoke out about her intolerance toward haters. She previously used her social media account to point out that there's "no shame" in your body changing. "How the world feels about me has nothing to do with me. How other people treat me has nothing to do with me," Hathaway once pointed out in an interview.

You do you, Anne!
