Legendary Country Singer Vince Gill Welcomes His First Granddaughter

The iconic country singer Vince Gill is a granddad once again. On Friday, January 12, he welcomed his first granddaughter and second grandchild – a precious little girl Everly June Van Valkenburg.

Little Everly became a part of an incredibly talented family: her grandfather is a true legend of the country music world. His singles reach top spots on both Billboard and Hot Country Songs charts. He was included into the Country Music Hall of Fame. And over the decades of his musical career, Vince Gill has earned 21 Grammy Awards – more than any other male country performer so far.

But most importantly, Vince is a great family man, a loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. And this fact makes little Everly June even luckier.

Vince's daughter from the first marriage, Jenny, was the one to break the happy news on social media. She posted a picture of her newborn baby girl just a couple of days after giving birth to her.

Then, the news was confirmed on Vince's official page on Facebook.

Following the sweet announcement, the happy mom shared another touching picture – a moment of the first encounter between Everly and her big brother, 3-year-old Wyatt.

Little Wyatt is pretty close with his famous grandfather. They spend a lot of time together, picking new toys, playing fun games, and simply enjoying the company of one another.

And we are pretty sure that the country star would be a perfect grandpa for the little Everly too.
