The red carpet at the 2018 Oscars turned into a family matter for two award nominees. Timothee Chalamet and Margot Robbie stepped onto the red carpet accompanied by their biggest supporters – their beautiful mothers.

The 27-year-old Australian star was nominated for the Best Actress award for her role in the film I, Tonya, and the 22-year-old French American actor was listed in the Best Actor category for his role in the Call Me By Your Name.

Timothee is the youngest Best Actor nominee in almost 80 years. It’s been quite a successful year for the actor, along with Call Me by Your Name, he also appeared in Lady Bird, which is nominated for Oscar's Best Picture. With this triumph, the young man has a bright future in front of him. He posed on the red carpet with his mother Nicole Flender.

Margot posed with her beautiful mom, Sarie Kessler, who looked as gorgeous and on-trend as her daughter. The actress was wearing a custom-designed white gown from Chanel. It is said that it took 600 hours for the dress to be made. The blonde beauty was named by Times as one of the 100 most influential people in 2017. Margot rose to fame after co-starring Leonardo DiCaprio in Martin Scorsese's biographical black comedy The Wolf of Wall Street. The role in I Tonya earned her the first ever Oscar nomination.

Unfortunately, neither Margot nor Timothee won the statuette, but they surely enjoyed the 90th Academy Awards. They are not the first stars to walk on the Oscars red carpet with their parents. Big celebrities, including Leonardo DiCaprio, Bradley Cooper, and Brad Pitt, all made the same choice of a date on previous events.
