Royals Are Ready: Buckingham Palace Unveiled Stunning Christmas Decorations

Christmas is definitely in the air for the Royals in Buckingham Palace. What better way to kick off the season of festivities than with colourful and gorgeous Christmas decorations? So while you are decking the halls on your end, be rest assured that the Queen of England is doing the same.

Every year, Buckingham Palace undergoes a bright and beautiful makeover in celebration of Christmas and this year is no different. They are pulling out all the stops. Check out these pictures to get a feel of how the British Royal Family prepare for the yuletides.

On the first of December, Buckingham Palace residents let us know that Christmas is on their mind with this simple, yet beautiful, display of colours.

A few days later, they decided to give us the full effect in a video shared on their official Twitter page, @theroyalfamily. They also shared a Christmas tree fact you may find interesting, by the way.

Clarence House and Westminster Abbey Christmas decorations

Another royal residence, The Clarence House, is also basking in the glow of Christmas. In the home of Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall, it's shaping up to be a jolly holiday.

According to their Twitter post, the Duchess enlisted the help of the children of the Helen & Douglas House Hospice to get the Christmas tree all set up. We bet those kids would have been proud to be a part of such a monumental tradition.

Also, the Westminster Abbey chapel shared pictures from their own yuletide-ready hall.
