Dwayne Johnson as he is, or why do people love him so much?

Who doesn't know Dwayne Johnson, especially in the light of the news we all have recently read? The rumors about his running for the presidency in 2020 didn't leave anyone indifferent, especially the fans of the actor.

But before we get to the hottest and most intriguing point about whether Dwayne is really going to get into the battle for the White House, let's see why on earth people love him so much.

Needless to say, his popularity is immense, and whether it's his meeting with fans or just an Instagram account, there are always lots of favorable comments on him being a great and honest person.

There's no post on his social media profiles without a comment like this one, by an Instagram user alanabbeauty: "It's amazing to see your success. Having been a fan of you since I was a kid, watching the WWF, I just knew it was only the beginning!" It's a vivid proof that people see a human being in the celebrity and look up to him, judging by what he does to others. That's probably the reason why The Rock tops the social media ranking among the actors!

What's more, even renowned editors give him their respect and praise as based on his treatment of others. And what's the most peculiar about him is that he treats everyone as friends. Here's what a famous GQ's reporter, Caity Weaver, writes in the introduction to her interview with Johnson:

For Johnson, there are no strangers; there are simply best friends, and best friends he hasn't met yet.

How did the rumors about The Rock's presidency start?

In fact, it was back in June when the Washington Post published an article, featuring the possibility of Johnson running for the presidency. He became the second shortlisted candidate for the position as selected by the conservatives after David French.

The article went viral, and people throughout the USA picked it up with huge astonishment. Lots of them said there couldn't be a better president, taking into account his personal qualities.

But as all these statements were only rumors, reporters were craving to hear an official response from The Rock himself.

There's no smoke without fire. Dwayne brings everything out into the open

So, finally, Caity Weaver from GQ had a sincere talk with the actor and found out something that made all of us wonder about our favorite candidate for the next elections. The Rock commented on the question about him running for the post with one short but very clear statement:

I think that it's a real possibility.

He also added:

I’ll be honest, I haven’t ruled politics out. I’m not being coy when I say that, but at the moment, I am not sure. I can’t deny that the thought of being governor, the thought of being president, is alluring. And beyond that, it would be an opportunity to make a real impact on people’s lives on a global scale. But there are a lot of other things I want to do first.

So, it's quite hard to judge right now what his answer actually meant and what the nearest future holds for us. However, on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon, The Rock didn't say a firm 'no' to the question he's been already asked for a million times.

Meanwhile, we are surprised to announce there's been already filed an official draft that registers The Rock with FEC for running for the presidency in 2020. Thus, there's nothing left for us, but waiting to see what happens next and whether Dwayne Johnson will officially accept this challenge!
