Different Roles Of The Late Actor Julio Mechoso

Renowned actor Julio Mechoso died November 25th, 2017 due to the heart attack. Mechoso died at his home in California at the age of 62. The world has lost yet another memorable actor famous for a variety of roles.

Julio was a very prolific actor with roles spanning from television series to films. His most recognizable film characters, Detective Ruiz and Romey, are from A-list movies Bad Boys and Grindhouse respectively. His unforgettable TV roles include Miami Vice and the hit show Seinfeld.

Furthermore, Mechoso featured in Ken ParkMachete Kills, and Martin Lawrence's Blue Streak. The audience might also remember him as one of his minor characters in shows like The Big Bang Theory and Wizards of Waverly Place.

Julio's story

The late Julio Mechoso was born May 31st, 1955 in Miami, Florida. He was of Cuban heritage, which became one of his defining traits in his acting career. Mechoso started his illustrious career on a sitcom called ¿Qué Pasa, U.S.A. His career went in an upwards direction as he graduated from minor TV roles all the way to filming Little Miss Sunshine with Steve Carell. One cannot but wonder what great roles were waiting for him. 

Remembering Julio Mechoso

The best way to keep an artist forever alive is to cherish his art as long as you live. Actor Andy Garcia, a dear friend of Julio, gave an endearing statement:

Julio is a unique and extraordinary artist. I say is, because his artistry will carry on and will be present in all that will witness it. That will never die.

Perhaps, now is the perfect time to watch a couple of re-runs of Seinfeld or Miami Vice so that we never let the memory of Julio Mechoso fade away.
