Vanessa Williams can do no wrong! The former Miss America is a musician, an actress, and a designer. Williams, who has been nominated for Grammy award, just announced her plans for an upcoming album.


As busy as she is with a clothing line, an acting career, and an album release, Williams manages to stay young, fit, and fabulous. And now, she is sharing her secrets to staying blossoming and beautiful.

Vanessa Williams' secrets to staying healthy

Vanessa, who is 54 and doesn't look a day over 40, is raising awareness of heart disease. Losing her grandmother to a heart condition at 28 made Williams counsious about brinning to attention heart issues.

1. Courage

Vanessa says women should always be brave enough to go to the doctor when they feel sick.

2. Regular screening

Going to the hospital for regular testing and check up, even when you feel fine, is a key. Williams says regular screening helps doctors detect things before they become severe.

3. Find a balance


It is all good and well to pursue your dreams and aspirations. But you should never be too busy to take care of your body. Finding a balance between healthy and junk food, or even stressful activities and relaxation, will keep you alive for longer.
