Princess Madeleine And Christopher O'Neill’s Love Story

March 16, 2018

Princess Madeleine and Christopher O'Neill seem to be different and come from different societies, but their love united them for long years. Princess Madeleine of Sweden comes from the royal family, being the seventh in the line of succession, and Christopher O'Neill is the British-born American financier.

They met each other through mutual friends, and for Madeleine, it was just a friendship in the beginning. They have very much in common, share the same humor and have fun to spend time together. But for Christopher it was something more than just a friendship, he knew immediately that she is his soul mate.

From the very outset, I immediately felt something special with Madeleine.

They lived together in Manhattan since November 2011. Initially, Madeleine moved to New York to work in World Childhood Foundation after her previous fiancé cheated on her.

The couple got engaged in 2012 after Christopher O'Neill received the permission from the King. By the way, after the King’s permission, their marriage has to be agreed with the Swedish Government, according to the procedures of the Swedish Constitution. They married the next year, and the ceremony was held at the Royal Palace chapel in Stockholm. The celebration drew around 500 European royals and wealthy jet-setters.

The couple has welcomed their third child just recently, on March 9th, 2018. According to the information from the Swedish Royal Court, the baby girl is healthy and doing well.

Their first child, 4-year old Princess Leonore, was born in New York, and the second, two-and-a-half-year-old Prince Nicolas – in Stockholm. The couple moved to London in 2015, where O’Neill works as the managing director of Wilton Payments Limited.

They all look so happy together!
