Bindi Irwin Shares Emotional Video Of Her Late Father, Steve Irwin, And Talks About His Ultimate Life Goal
It's been over 11 years since Steve Irwin, the popular Australian zookeeper, passed away, and as you might expect, his family still misses him every day.
Bindi Irwin: daddy's girl
Steve's daughter, Bindi, has made it clear many times that her father still holds a very special place in her heart. Her effort and activities are aimed at making him proud.
In 2015, while she was on 'Dancing With The Stars', she tearfully paid a sweet tribute to him upon reaching the finale.
In a tweet, she also shared a cherished family photo and revealed in the caption that it was the last one taken of all of them together.
The last photo as a family, before I had to wave goodbye to my hero, for the last time. Dad, I love you. pic.twitter.com/qvu8Cl2IoP

The emotional video
Bindi posted an emotional clip of Steve Irwin where he was talking about the possibility of, one day, saying goodbye to his work.
My first time watching this footage was only a few days ago. I don’t think I’ll ever be able to describe the amount of emotion in my heart once the video ended. My dad. My superhero. I promise to do my best to make you proud and ensure your legacy lives on forever. A new chapter in our lives has begun as we embark on this journey with @animalplanet. There is so much on the horizon. We can’t wait to share our story as a family ❤️???? #WildlifeWarriors
In the video, Steve said he would only consider retiring the 'Crocodile Hunter' title when his children are able to take what he had built and run with it.
In the caption of the post, Bindi said she watched the clip very recently and it made her truly emotional.
My dad. My Superhero. I promise to do my best to make you proud and ensure your legacy lives on forever.
She mentioned in her post that she was looking forward to the new project her family has in the works with Animal Planet.
The family's work with Animal Planet
The Irwin family is returning to Animal Planet after over a decade. In a recent interview, Robert Irwin revealed that everyone including his sister and mother will be a part of a new nature series.
The show will be based on Steve Irwin's former project and it will also focus on wild animals and rare species. It is scheduled to premiere this year.
