The animal cruelty cases we hear in news make our hearts sink. But these are only the reported ones. There are other heartless encounters that never officially surface.
Many mentally ill people victimize animals. They have a hoarding disorder which makes them ruthless towards all beings. As these poor creatures can't sing their stories, they are neglected and tortured. According to The Humane Society, 70.1% dogs, 20.9% cats, and 24.1% other animals were involved in pet abuse cases in 2011.

It's unimaginable. If these tokens of love and compassion are treated this way, then what about livestock animals?
Rescue of a scared homeless dog
The dog was heartbroken and sad, living on the cold streets by himself. This sweetness was found roaming near the railroad station. Every attempt to save him was in vain because he might run off and hit the trains. Eventually, his saviors showed their efforts and entrusted him. Then the dog was directed to a safe haven.
Sadly, upon inspection, the rescuers found him blind in one eye. He was evidently punched in the eye and brutally abused. He was immediately taken to medical care where they treated his injuries, and also found the owner's chip. When they contacted him, he was rude and didn't want his dog, Bobi back.
Bobi was an old dog in his golden years and he needed a caring adoptive family to offer him a home. A forever home this time, where he can spend his remaining years happy and loved. He stayed at Howl Of A Dog’s care in Romania until his adoption. He traveled to Delaware to a new family, which became his home.
People sent the dog love
Bobi had made full recovery and his happily ever after, had begun. Social media users condemned such actions of cruelty towards angelic animals. He received loads love and support from the public. That's what he ever deserved after all!
How to report about pets who are left by their owners
You can save them by actively reporting animal cruelty. One Green Planet advises to always have a hotline to dial to animal rescuers. Whether pets are abused in fighting competitions, at home or in the livestock industry. They do have rights.
