Lucky cat

The little cat was saved by two firefighters of the St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1, Eric Dupuy and Richie Carter. Luck was on its side after Dupuy spotted it.

It is not clear how its head got stuck, but the firefighers worried that the base may have accumulated water within and the cat's head was immersed in the water.

They did their best to pry it loose as quick as possible and worked using a tool to free up space around the hole where the cat's head was stuck.

Free again

After the fiesty cat was freed, it could not curb its joy at being free once again. While the firefighters attempted to take a picture with it, its main concern was getting away from further restraint.

The firefighters appear to have found fans online as people have been reacting to the video shared by the St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1 online.
