Doesn't Care? Whoopi Goldberg Finally Responds To Rosie O'Donell Branding Her 'Mean' & 'The Worst'

Date May 13, 2019

Actress and liberal comedienne Rosie O'Donnell had first signed on with The View in 2006. She had replaced Meredith Vieira. Marie couldn't hold the political pressure within the arrangement and left the show only a year later. She pointed finger on a particular colleague, who is now ready to answer.

O'Donnell made a comeback in 2014, then left again the following year, as she meant to focus on her health and family. Previously, she had confided in Ramin Setoodeh's new tell-all, Ladies Who Punch: The Explosive Inside Story of The View her opinion about co-anchor, Whoopi Goldberg.

Rosie disclosed that the worst experience she ever had on live television was interacting with her. She also called the Sister Act alum very mean.

Whoopi broke her silence

Goldberg sat with Andy Cohen on his show Watch What Happens Live and was inquired about the feud. She readily dismissed Ramin's credibility to talk about her. Whoopi remarked that she doesn't even know the writer or his book and doesn't even care. The host then took a silent jab at former-colleague, Rosie O'Donnell.

Whoopi explained that she keeps work and her personal life separate. She dusted off the responsibility of Rosie 's comments, saying:

What happens for me at work is not for everybody -- it's not their business. I don't like talking out of school and I don't like other people talking out of school.

She's given it all to the show

Since 2009, Whoopi had not carried on her acting career. She wanted to concentrate on hosting the daytime chat show. So, it's probably reasonable for her to be this defensive.

Do you think Rosie's testimony weighs more than Whoop's? Maybe, the two just had different prospects? Share this and let us know what do you think?
