The popular sitcom of the 80s Full House had John Stamos as Uncle Jesse and Lori Loughlin as Aunt Becky. People started to ship them instantly and wanted them to be together in life too. Now, Lori admits that was actually a very sound possibility.

John Stamos revealed to US Magazine that he and Lori had tried to escalate their friendship. They once went on a date to Disneyland before they were married. The two were very young and soon, his co-star became the one that got away. He said:

She's one of my dearest friends, and that's good enough.

They might have married each other

As their paths collided on the same series, Lori and Stamos tried to reach out to each other differently. Unluckily, the timing was really off. When John was single and divorced, Lori was married and when Lori was available, John got committed to another.

So, if they had developed a romantic relationship on the correct moment, Lori and Stamos would have been spouses now. They have such great chemistry! Talking to Fox News about her best friend, Lori admitted:

It was very flattering. I’m going to put that on my tombstone – ‘the one that got away.’ I’m going to take it right to the grave with me.

How does Lori's husband feel about it?

Lori tied the knot with a successful designer, Mossimo Giannulli, in 1997. In an interview, the proud wife gushed over his sense of humor. He and Stamos are, in fact, good pals. When the fans recommend Lori and John to get together, he just nods with them, saying:

I agree. She should have married John Stamos.

They might have not been an official pair but Lori and John have created something even more powerful. They are like family and it is the best thing ever.
