The show seems to be stronger than ever and it's all thanks to the wonderful cast, which never fails to entertain us, season after season.

As our love for the TV series grows, the bond between the main actors becomes stronger, as well. For example, Mariska Hargitay and Ice-T have been working together for over 20 years now, and they can definitely feel the power of time on their relationship.

20 years of work and friendship

Hargitay and Ice-T visited The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon to talk about working together for two decades and how it affected both of them. The 54-year-old actress recalled that she was afraid of meeting her co-star in the beginning due to his rapper status, but her first impression of him pleasantly surprised her and it's lasted through the years:

He came on the show and he was the sweetest, kindest, most open... it was such a joy and has been for almost 20 years... he's taught me about so many things.

Ice-T then pointed out how much he loves working with his friend, and what a warm environment they have on the set. In addition, he couldn't help but sweetly respond to Hargitay's words about him:

We're very fortunate to be on a show that, you know, everyone likes each other, everyone gets along. 20 years is a long time and it's a very cool work environment. Mariska is the best.

The Law & Order co-stars also appeared on Late Night with Seth Meyers, where Mariska said they're all basically family at this point, and it's a one-of-a-kind experience to share with colleagues.

Congratulations to our favorite actors on 20 years of the show, and we hope to see 20 more!
