The Canadian power couple took a beating in 2016 after their first son Noah was diagnosed with cancer. But they are long past the cancer episode.

A source close to the family confirmed to Entertainment Tonight that the Bublés ended 2017 on a special note after a year that left them shaken.

Family above everything

Now, the things are back to normal for the couple. Bublé is finally opening up about what that harrowing time felt like. "I don't talk about the whole story, not even to my friends because it hurts too much", he said.

He told the Herald Sun that experiencing his son’s 18-month battle with cancer almost made him quit music altogether, but he came out of it with a clear understanding that family was what mattered most to him.

Things are looking up for the power couple now. Bublé is back on stage singing again, and his son is in perfect health.

But, more than that, the family is truly turning the page on the dark chapter in their lives, as they prepare to welcome their first daughter later this month.
