Justin Timberlake Takes Time Off His Tour To Bond With Survivors Of The Texas Shooting In Hospital

Justin Timberlake is taking time off his 'Man of the Woods' tour to do some necessary good, and his fans don't mind at all.

Justin Timberlake's tribute

The pop star's tour party stopped at the Houston Toyota Center where he was billed to perform last week, on the heels of the Texas shooting.

While he performed, he took time out to pay tribute to victims of the shooting. Recall that a teenager identified as Dimitrios Pagourtzis opened fire on students at Santa Fe High School, thus killing 10 people and injuring 10 more.

He visited survivor, Sarah Salazar

Timberlake did not just pay tribute during his show, he made a call at the bedside of survivor, Sarah Salazar, who was shot from her neck to her thigh.

According to a GoFundMe page set up to take care of Sarah's medical bills, the shooting fractured her mandibles and several ribs.

Her neck vessel was also badly damaged.

Other vocal celebrities

Timberlake's visit comes after NFL star JJ Watt visited the same hospital where Sarah and a number of her mates were recovering.

In addition to these visits, celebrities like Kelly Clarkson and Jimmy Kimmel have been vocal about the shooting.
