An intimate affair

In a beautiful ceremony filled with special moments for the couple, family members, Britons, Americans, and fans across the world, the duke and duchess said their vows to each other.

The wedding was witnessed by guests known to the couple in their personal and professional lives, as Harry and Meghan chose to make the ceremony an intimate affair, rather than a state event.

Nonetheless, the audience was not lacking in star power. Oprah Winfrey, Idris Elba, George and Amal Clooney, Serena Williams, The Beckhams, Priyanka Chopra, Markle's Suits co-stars and more people were among the 600 persons who were present.

"Keep waving Philip"

All eyes were on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex.

A moment no one will forget was the words that Prince Harry said to Meghan: "You look amazing...I missed you."

He was not the only one who had something to say according to an expert lip reader, Terry Ruane, who spoke to Mail Online.

Ruane revealed that the Duchess of Sussex kept saying 'wow' as the ceremony progressed. His lip-reading skills extended to capturing idle chatter from guests as well.

Idris Elba is commended the wedding venue. A pregnant Zara Tindall, who is Prince Harry's cousin, remarked to her husband that she needed to use the toilet. And when the family stood outside to greet the enthusiastic crowd, The Queen told her husband, Prince Philip, to keep waving.

Strong emotions for Harry

The most beautiful exchanges where between Harry and Meghan Markle. At one point, while they waited for the bride to arrive, Harry asked Prince William, "Is she here yet?" William replied "No, not yet. I don’t know actually." And Harry reportedly said he had to see Meghan and her dress before his hair goes grey.

Body language expert, Judi James, also told Mail Online that Prince Harry constantly had to overcome strong emotions throughout the service and managed to pull of smiles to mask his feelings, but Meghan Markle remained composed.

Ms. James' analysis certainly mirrors what anyone who watched the wedding witnessed. Congrats again to the beautiful couple.
