Vogue Magazine Lists Meghan Markle As One Of Britain's Most Influential Women Over Kate Middleton And The Queen!

Vogue has named Meghan Markle one of its top 25 women shaping Britain in 2018. This comes just after her wedding to Prince Harry who is 6th in line to the British throne.

Meghan Markle shines

The Vogue list published just days ago was put together in time for their July issue. It includes inspiring women like the 3ft 5in writer and academic, Sinéad Burke, budding cultural icons like Dua Lipa and Amal Clooney.


Markle was namedas a gamechanger, as she is a mixed race American woman who has been married before. Her marriage into the royal family was hailed as a progressive move by the Windsors.

The Time 100 list for 2018

Markle and her beau, Prince Harry, were listed in the highly exclusive Time 100 most influential people's list this year.

For her Time 100 list, the Duchess of Sussex had a lovely profile written by her friend, the actress, Priyanka Chopra, who praised her for her passion and humanitarianism.

Harry’s profile was written by musician, Sir Elton John. Her praised the Duke of Sussex for his work with fighting AIDS and the founding of the Invictus Games for physically challenged.

No list for Kate Middleton yet?

Conspicuously missing from any lists so far are other women from the royal family, particularly the Queen and Kate Middleton.

Middleton’s absence is especially noticed because of her work to normalize mental health conversations with Heads Together, the organization she runs alongside Prince William and Prince Harry.
