Whoopi Goldberg's Grandchildren Have Grown Up So Fast And They're Still Very Much Like Her!

Whoopi Goldberg isn’t just a rock star, a TV host, and a multiple award-winning actress. She is an unconventional grandma to her three grandkids whom she spoils silly.
Her only daughter, Alex, was born to her first husband, Alvin Martin. Alex is an actress herself and a mom to three: Amarah Skye, 29, Jerzey, 23, and Mason, 20. She had her first kid when she was only 16, and the father has remained unknown. She is also known to have remarried her current husband, Bernard Dean, multiple times.
In 2007, Whoopi, who became a grandma quite early as a result of her daughter's teenage pregnancy, was very upfront about being a non-traditional grandma.
Her grandkids do not come to her for food, she said, they come for the adventure.
Are they like Whoopi?
But now that the kids are adults themselves, how much of their famous grandma have they inherited? It turns out, they look like Whoopi quite a lot and seem to have inherited the creative gene that runs in the family.
Amarah Skye is a visual artist. Jerzey already has some Hollywood cred as a production assistant and is known for her interest in fashion. And the baby of the house, Mason, is listed online as an actor, producer, and writer.
All those adventures with their grandma definitely paid off.
She's a great-grandma too!
Another thing that runs in the family: Becoming a grandma early enough! At 45, Alex is already one, which makes Whoopi, 63, one of the Hollywood stars in the exclusive club of great-grandparents.
She became a great-grandma after Amarah gave birth to her daughter, Charlie Rose, in 2014. A proud and slightly rusty Whoopi shared a clip of herself getting a hang of feeding the beautiful tot after 40 years without nursing a baby. Adorable!
