At 93, Angela Lansbury has had a successful career that has spanned seven decades and is still going strong. Throughout her years working in theater, television, and film, she met a lot of famous people with whom she shared the set.
In 1946, Lansbury portrayed 'Em', her first-ever American character, in the Oscar-winning musical The Harvey Girls, where she played alongside Judy Garland. Judy wanted to play in a different film at that time, but she was convinced by the musical’s producer that The Harvey Girls would be made in such way as to showcase her best talents.

In 1962, Angela got to share the set with the legendary crooner Frank Sinatra. The two appeared together in the suspense thriller film The Manchurian Candidate. Recently, the actress revealed what it was like working with Sinatra and Garland.

In early December, Angela Lansbury had a candid interview with Larry King during which she shared her experiences working with iconic stars Judy Garland and Frank Sinatra.
When talking about Sinatra, Lansbury revealed that even though they didn’t have any scenes together, she remembers the first time she met him, which was at a party in New York where Angela arrived to play in the musical Mame.
Sinatra sat near Lansbury and the two had a long chat, during which the singer showed his kind soul as he said:
Angie, I will teach you every single song that you are going to sing. I will help you to do this.
Lansbury says she never got over his extraordinary words and incredible generosity.
Talking about Judy Garland, the 93-year-old said that Judy was great and that they got along very well.
Lansbury worked with so many amazing people, but they are all gone now. She says:
The greatest actors, and they are all gone. This is what’s so desperate to me that here I am, I still go on, you know, like the tides.
We hope Lansbury will go on for many more years and continue to inspire with her incredible talent and a strong will.
