Duchesses At War: Royal Expert Claims Kate Middleton Feels Threatened By Meghan Markle

In 2018, the world has discovered that the two royal wives, Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle, might not be getting alone. The rumors have started to circulate after it was revealed that the Sussex family is moving out of Kensington Palace.

However, some experts believe that those rumors are based on nothing.The Daily Mail's royal correspondent Rebecca English claimed that the move is happening purely because the Duke and Duchess' current place of living has no space for their growing family.

Nonetheless, another journalist thinks that there is some truth is the press’ gossips as she thinks that Kate Middleton is not happy that Meghan joined the royal family.

Why Kate is not pleased with her sister-in-law?

Before Meghan arrived at the royal scene, Kate was the center of the spotlight, claims the royal expert Carole Malone. But one of the most-talked-about romances of our time shifted the focus from the future Queen of England to the American actress that stole the heart of the British Prince.

Speaking on Channel 5 documentary titled Kate V Meghan: Princesses At War, the journalist explained:

I do think if you had been the top dog, if you had been the young gorgeous girl that everyone had been photographing for the last two or three or four years. You might be a little bit put out when this gorgeous, American, Hollywood star arrives on the scene.

Ms. Malone is certain that the Duchess of Cambridge is feeling “threatened” by her sister-in-law. She also added that the two women are very different and come from different backgrounds. That might have ignited a spark of interest in the British public, as well as caused the two royal women to clash.

Despite that, the body language expert Blanca Cobb, who analyzed Kate and Meghan's body language during the last year, didn't see any signs of tension between the ladies. She said:

From their body language, smiles, and eye contact, I think they have a respectful, friendly, and sisterly relationship with no micro-expressions of anger, disgust, or discontent.

Cobb noted that they might act differently behind the closed doors, so we might never know what is actually going between Meghan and Kate. But we would like to believe that, no matter what the press says, they have managed to build a solid friendship which won’t be ruined by the evil tongues.
