Mr. Moix proclaimed that women over 50 are too old for him and added:

I prefer younger women’s bodies, that’s all. End of. The body of a 25-year-old woman is extraordinary. The body of a woman of 50 is not extraordinary at all.

The kicker? Moix is 50 years old himself.

Not only French women were enraged after hearing his sexist comments. American actress Whoopi Goldberg was also not very pleased with them.

What did she say?

On the talk show the View, which she co-hosts with Meghan McCain and other women, Goldberg decided to bring up the French writer and discuss his words. All ladies took their turn to joke about the absurdity of Moix’s statement.

Joy Behar quipped:

I would like to say to Yann Moix, erectile dysfunction is nothing to be ashamed of.

Her comment caused the audience to erupt with laughter and applause. The conversation ended on a positive note as everyone agreed that women shouldn’t worry about haters like him.

What do other people think about Moix's words?

Do you agree with the comments?
