“Call Her Diana": Paul Burrell Urges Harry And Meghan To “Be Brave” And Name Their Baby After Princess Diana

After announcing the pregnancy news, Meghan Markle and Prince Harry have a lot on their mind. But there is something they haven’t quite thought about yet – the name of their first baby. According to Daily Mail’s reporter Rebecca English, the couple has a long list of names to look through.

However, there is another name suggestion that recently appeared on the horizon. Lady Diana’s former butler, Paul Burrell, thinks the newlyweds should pay the respect to Harry’s late mother by naming the baby in her honor.

The 60-year-old gushed on social media over the news about Meghan’s pregnancy, sending his congratulations to the couple. He wrote:

Dear Meghan and Harry, Many Congratulations to you both on your wonderful news. Australia has taken you to their hearts and have seen at first hand the inspirational people you are.

Burrell followed up, urging the couple to be “brave” and make Princess Diana “proud:”

If your baby is a girl, be brave and call her Diana, which would make your Mother so proud.

According to The Sun, he even predicted that Prince Harry’s wife will be pregnant within the first year of their marriage. Before the news was announced, he stated:

Time is marching on and Harry does want a family. I think there's not much time left for Meghan. She's got to get on with it. Two [children] would be enough for Harry.

Some people are convinced Meghan Markle is pregnant with twins after a bookmaker, Coral, took a sudden rush of bets on her giving birth to two babies. In that case, the couple could choose to pay the respect to Lady Di.

It’s fair for people to give name ideas, but at the end of the day, it’s Meghan and Harry’s decision to make.
