This time, Goldberg, who is happily single, decided to share her thoughts on something that most women, and some men, like to discuss – relationships.

The actress, who also dipped her toes into the literary world, released a new book, which she dedicated to the matter and here are some of her tips.

Whoopi talks about relationships

During her appearance on The View, Goldberg brought up her new book, titled If Someone Says “You Complete Me,” RUN! Hearing such a bold title, many would wonder what she means by it.

The funny woman, who had been married and divorced three times, explained:

If somebody tells you that you complete them, they are putting a lot of pressure on you to make them better. I think you have to be two whole people, who come together and make something totally new.

In the book, she makes a reader think about what will happen if someone who completes them suddenly passes away.

Even if you don’t agree with her statement, her written work has a lot of advice that might make you question your views on a relationship. Goldberg, whose heart been broken many times, writes that it’s important to know what you want but don’t get your expectations too high.

The out-spoken comedian believes that women and men should have a realistic approach to love. Also, communication is key. Make sure to let our partner know your boundaries and what you can and can’t compromise on.
