Kate Middleton Copied Her Style From Famous Royal, But It’s Nether Princess Diana Nor The Queen
The Duchess of Cambridge is famous for her impeccable style. She created quite a big fashion following with her feminine silhouettes and pretty prints that ooze out elegance.
However, since she returned from her maternity leave, we have noticed a few changes in her looks. The mom-of-three became a little bit more bold with colors, choosing turquoise, magenta, green, cobalt blue, and yellow.
Why such changes? It seems that Kate’s position is starting to get more elevated as she is moving towards the queen-in-waiting position. Her series of bright outfits is a tribute to Queen’s favorite fashion trick – wearing bold colors so that she will stand out in the crowd. Nonetheless, a royal expert claims that the Duchess’ fashion icon is not her Majesty and not even Princess Diana.
The royal inspiration
Which royal woman is an inspiration behind Kate’s style? If we take a look at her gorgeous wedding dress, some might get a feeling it reminds them of something. And they won’t be far from the truth.
Her dress is very similar to the gown Hollywood star Grace Kelly donned at her wedding when she married Prince Rainier in 1956.

Royal reporter Ashley Pearson claims that the two ladies not only share “elegant looks and slender builds.” According to her, they also have some similarities in their style, which is especially noted in their wedding gowns.
Moreover, Kate also used Grace’s perfume, Creed’s “Florissimo”, on her big day. It’s not that surprising as Kelly was and still is a style icon.
Her timeless chic inspires many women around the world so there is no wonder that the Duchess of Cambridge is one of them.
