There is something that draws the Duchess of Sussex to navy blue. Her love to that color has no limits as we’ve been seen her donning stunning dresses in navy again and again. Perhaps, she wears it so much as it is a great substitute for black, which is a big no-no for royals.
No matter why Meghan chooses navy, she looks absolutely gorgeous in it and that’s what matters the most. The Duchess has decided to wrap up her royal tour with wearing the color she loves so much and somehow she manages to make it look anything but dull.
The final day of the royal tour
Everything comes to an end and so does the 16-day royal tour of the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. We have enjoyed watching the couple doing their royal business but we were also delighted to see Meghan’s incredibly stylish outfits. Even for her final day of the tour, the Duchess didn’t disappoint.
The mom-to-be stepped out in a stunning navy dress by Stella McCartney, which she teamed up with a traditional Korowai robe. The simple yet elegant designer number is believed to cost $3,873.
According to royal reporter Omid Scobie, the Korowai robe is a special gift.

Meghan paired her extraordinary outfit of the day with her trusty navy heels and her signature updo. She accessorized her look with a Maōri-style New Zealand jade necklace, which suited the outfit perfectly.
Interestingly enough, Meghan decided to make the day extra special by wearing two of her wedding dress designers – Givenchy for a public walkabout and Stella McCartney for a welcoming ceremony in Rotorua.
And both of the dresses are blue, which doesn’t come as a surprise anymore, knowing how the Duchess loves this color.
