Date June 12, 2018 12:43

It has been a good year for British singer Robbie Williams, and June is looking even better. He announced that he will be performing live before the opening game at the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Moscow.

I’m so happy and excited to be going back to Russia for such a unique performance. I’ve done a lot in my career, and opening the FIFA World Cup to 80,000 football fans in the stadium and many millions all over the world is a boyhood dream.

There is no confirmation about what song Williams will perform before the game between Russia and Saudi Arabia. But he has a lot of classic hits to choose from. However, he will also be performing a duet with Russian soprano Aida Garifullina.

And that’s not all. Word is that the former "Take That" singer is set to feature in his very own reality TV show alongside his wife Ayda Field and his mother-in-law Gwen. In a conversation with The Sun, Williams confirmed that there was a show in the works.

There’s something in the making. There’s a format there, it’s just making sure it’s the right one and the right show.
