Tom Cruise Has An Important Update On Val Kilmer’s Cancer Battle

Val Kilmer has recently confirmed his return as Iceman. Despite his battle with cancer, the actor is ready for actions.

Val Kilmer announced this news on his Facebook account. He is really excited about the upcoming cooperation with legendary actors, including Tom Cruise.

In his interview with Extra's Renee Bargh, Tom Cruise made a comment regarding Val Kilmer and the fact that he is coming back for the Top Gun sequel. He also provided an update on Val Kilmer’s health.


Tom said:

He’s doing really well.

It will be Val Kilmer’s first major role after recovering from throat cancer. The actor’s health problems first appeared back in 2015. At that time, Val Kilmer's spokesperson informed the public he rushed to hospital for a possible tumor.

While battling with the disease for several years, Val Kilmer has undergone chemotherapy and a procedure on his trachea. Now, he is doing much better.
