“We Are Here To Show Love”. Fans Are Camping Out On The Streets Ahead Of Meghan Markle And Prince Harry Wedding
The whole world is now waiting impatiently for the royal wedding, the day when Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will become a husband and a wife. Tomorrow, on May 19, they will finally get married, but their fans started gathering in advance.
By the way, camping is a tradition of the royal family`s fans. When Kate Middleton was still pregnant, a lot of people were spotted camping in the vicinity of St. Mary’s Hospital. They were captured with flags and outfits made of the Union Jack and wanted to be the first to see the royal newborn baby.
The same situation is happening with the royal wedding. A couple of days before the big event, the streets outside of Windsor Castle were already packed with fans who have camped out. They were basically living on the street in order to have the best possible viewing spot on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s big day.
Some people do it for the second time already. Donna Werner, from Connecticut, and Faith Nicholson, from London, met each other at William and Kate’s wedding. And now they met again to celebrate the great occasion. They say:
We met at William and Kate’s wedding, and we said when Harry got married we were coming back, and here we are.
Fans have already prepared flags, balloons, and posters. They also have everything needed for camping. One of the fans said:
We have air mattresses; we have sleeping bags; we have tarps; we have hand warmers, coats and socks and gloves and scarves and hats. I think we’re set.
Everybody is very happy about the upcoming royal wedding. Donna Werner says:
Everybody is happy. I mean, you’re not here for a sad occasion. You’re not here for a demonstration. You’re just here to show your love.
Together with the fans camping out, we are looking forward to Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s wedding!
