"My Saddest Moment As A Mother": Tina Turner Finally Addresses Her Son's Death

On July 3, Tina Turner was hit with tragic news. Her first son, Craig Raymond Turner, was found dead in his home.

The death was ruled an apparent suicide after the Los Angeles Coroner’s Office revealed that the 59-year-old was discovered with a self-inflicted gunshot wound.

For the reclusive Tina Turner, 78, who denounced her U.S. citizenship in 2013 and now makes her home in Switzerland, she chose to deal with the loss privately.

She breaks her silence

But, days after the family gathered to say their last goodbyes to Craig, a very distraught Tina Turner spoke to fans via the Twitter account managed on her behalf.

The very intimate burial was held off the Californian coast where they scattered his ashes. And she shared a picture with the caption, "My saddest moment as a mother. On Thursday, July 19 2018, I said my final goodbye to my son...".

Outpouring of love

Her husband, the German music producer Erwin Bach, was by her side.

And although she prefers to keep the experience as private as possible, fans have been sending an outpouring of love her way. Our prayers are with her.
