When it comes to one of the most beloved royal couples, Prince William and Kate Middleton, people want to know everything about them. They seem to click so well that everyone wants to know the secret of their success.
Right after they got engaged, the couple started having lots of interviews about their relationship and plans for the future. People were curious both about their past and how they plan to raise their future kids. So, when Prince William and Kate Middleton were asked about how many kids they wanted to have, the answer was well-though over.
Prince William said they wanted to have a true family with children, but first, there is their marriage to deal with. And now, they are a happy family with 3 beautiful kids, isn’t it wonderful?
What did Kate say when she met Prince William at first?
In fact, the couple first met at the university. And in the interview they both gave before their marriage, Kate admits it was quite awkward. When asked what did she say to him back then, that’s how she replied:
I actually went bright red when I met you and scuttled off feeling very shy about meeting you.
William wasn't there for quite a bit of the time initially, he wasn't there from Fresher's Week, so it did take a bit of time for us to get to know each other. But we did become very close friends from quite early on.
All in all, they were friends for about a year and the thing William liked about her the most was her brilliant sense of humor.
A split? Did it really happen?
According to Marie Claire, the couple once broke up when they were still in college. And while back in 2007 Clarence House refused to comment on Prince William’s private life, the man decided to open up about it later on:
We were both very young. It was at university, we were sort of both finding ourselves as such and being different characters and stuff, it was very much trying to find our own way and we were growing up, and so it was just sort of a bit of space and a bit of things like that and it worked out for the better.
Luckily, it was all for better and now we can enjoy watching a beautiful family of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge. They have lived through lots of rough patches but remained together and became stronger!
