Who is Daphne Oz?
Daphne Oz (b. 1986) is the oldest child in the Oz bunch. She has two sisters, Arabella and Zoe, and a brother, Oliver.
Daphne’s parents’ occupation influenced her own career choice. She’s been interested in natural health since childhood, especially in healthy eating.
She received a degree in Near Eastern Studies from Princeton University in 2008 and published her first book on healthy eating before she graduated! The book, titled The Dorm Room Diet, was released in 2006 and focuses on advice for developing healthy eating habits while in college. It’s based on Daphne’s own experience.
She has since published a few more books on the topic and has written for several popular magazines and websites, including Glamor and The Huffington Post.
As a TV personality, Daphne is best known as a co-host of ABC’s cooking-themed talk show The Chew. She was a regular on the show from 2011 to 2017 and has also appeared on her dad’s show and Good Morning America, Fox & Friends, and more.
Daphne is a wife and mom-of-three. She married John Jovanovic, an investment fund analyst, in 2010.
The couple welcomed their first child, daughter Philomena, in 2014. Their son, Jovan Jr., arrived in 2015, and another daughter, Domenica, was born in 2017.
With such an impressive list of achievements under her belt, Daphne makes her dad tremendously proud – there’s no doubt about that!
