The classic American sweetheart, Shirley Jones served Hollywood for nearly six decades as an actress and later, as a singer. She boarded the fame-train with her debut on Oklahoma! (1955). Making grandma proud

Shirley's son, Patrick has a son named after his grandpa, Jack Cassidy. He is on way to carry on the family's legacy by making a name in the music industry. In 2017, Jack performed a powerful cover of Don't Let the Sun Go Down on Me by Elton John. His singular talent earned him a place on The Voice mentor, Alicia Keys' team earlier.

When Jack performed her first song during the blind auditions, the grandma had spoken up with ET online to show her support to the grandson. She said:

I’m incredibly proud of Jack. Even coming from a family of singers, I believe his natural soulfulness and incredible range make him a standout.
