On April 12, 2018, Khloe Kardashian and her boyfriend, Tristan Thompson, welcomed their baby into the world. Their daughter, True, is the third baby born to complete the Kardashian clan since January. She was preceded by Chicago West, the daughter of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian, and Stormi, a baby girl born to Kylie Jenner and her boyfriend, Travis Scott.
Khloe's been keeping her pregnancy a secret for months. Eventually, she revealed the truth and explained that she waited for the right time, so that the whole family would be around to share the news.
While she was expecting, Khloe had a lot of support from her sisters and mother, Kris Jenner. She even pulled out a twin-combo with then-pregnant sister Kylie to the delight of fans.
She stopped breastfeeding
With her maternity leave over, Khloe is heading back to work. And fans are curious about how she is handling leaving her baby for long hours. One fan asked Khloe on Twitter how she handles feeding the baby.
.@khloekardashian do you pump while you’re at work?— Stephasaurus (@stephie_baybie) July 7, 2018
Apparently, Khloe has stopped breastfeeding altogether. She says she did not have much of a choice but still found the situation very troubling and took time adjusting to not nursing her baby like she was used to.
I had to stop breast feeding 😩😩😩 it was really hard for me to stop (emotionally) but it wasn’t working for my body. Sadly— Khloé (@khloekardashian) July 7, 2018
Khloe also had a problem with lactation which was the main reason she had to stop breastfeeding. In another tweet, she confessed to having tried “every trick in the book” to make sure she continues breastfeeding, but nothing seemed to work.
Ugh it wasn’t that easy for me. I tried every trick in the book- water, special cookies, power pumping, massages etc. I tried so very hard to continue. https://t.co/UYDjvbJHZg— Khloé (@khloekardashian) July 7, 2018
It was so frustrating because for Kourt it was sooooooo easy for her to breast feed. My experience was very different— Khloé (@khloekardashian) July 7, 2018
Khloe is not alone. Many of her fans shared responses to her tweet or similar experiences and encouraged her to stay optimistic, especially for the sake of her baby.
I had the same problem! It was hard to give up as well but it was the biggest relieve when I finally did quit because I was so stressed about it. It's not for everyone and we have to be grateful that there is formula to feed our babies when we can't!— Kaysha (@KayshaMarie) July 7, 2018
Oh my gosh I was the same!! I fought and fought to try and continue but then when I actually stopped, I didn’t realize what a relief it was for me to not stress and worry anymore. Any sec I had of downtime I was stressing to produce more for the next feeding— Khloé (@khloekardashian) July 7, 2018
Don't worry, sis. Fed is best. Do what you can when you can.— Taylor Alexander (@FreshTaylorAle) July 7, 2018
Im glad I’m not the only one this happened to. Yes, I know there’s more mommies out there that this happens to, BUT at that moment you feel like you’re the only person it’s happening to.— Stephasaurus (@stephie_baybie) July 7, 2018
It is common knowledge that some women have difficulty breastfeeding their babies, even though most medical practitioners insist that breast milk is healthier. For mothers like Khloe who can no longer enjoy the experience, finding proper baby food can go a long way to keep babies growing strong and healthy.
